"Will you be here with us every day?!"

Ema asked before lunch. In the evening, she wanted me to read a bedtime story, and when I was about to leave, she tried to get out of bed and go and wave to me instead. So I would say that the day couldn't have gone better. 
We aimed to document their daily routine and everyday activities, so we spent most of the time at home. We planted in the garden, mowed the grass, went for ice cream, rode bikes, and roasted sausages. Since it was the first of May, we couldn't leave out some kisses under the cherry tree. Even though a day like that may seem like a 'boring' daily routine, my goal was to show them how powerful such ordinary moments can be, and I had plenty of opportunities to do so.
